Hubby had a microdiscectopy on his lower back last Wednesday. Dr Zellum cut a small 2" incision on Rick's back and with the help of tiny surgical tools, shaved off the protruding part of the disc pressing on the nerve in his back. He's still about the same. Pain all the time some worse than others. Not able to walk long distances or sit for extended periods of time. Doc has restricted him to lifting no more than 5lbs. Jenn is a trucker's wife raising two boys in small town Minnesota. While Trucker Hubby is on the road, she gets to watch what she wants on TV, sleep in the middle of the bed and shaves her legs IF she feels like it (which is rare!) She hates house work, exercise and those stupid "buy 2 items to get 55¢ off" coupons!
Jenn is honest & real about the things she loves (her family & chocolate) & the things she hates (getting up early, "55¢ off 2" coupons, & the laundry pile). Sometimes it works in her favor...other times, not so much so!
